Low inventories of homes for sale remain troubling to home buyers
I first wrote this letter of advice to home buyers in October 2012. It’s still applies in the current real estate market:
Dear Home Buyer,
You’re getting a great deal on the interest rate. You’ve been looking for months. The inventory is really low and this one is the only one that I have show you this week. It meets every one of the criteria you have said you want in a home. Make your offer now!
It’s happening all over the country: Home Buyers Grow Frustrated by Low Inventories.
I’m representing you! Why am I advising this? Low inventories are inevitably going to push home prices up. It’s the law of supply and demand. The improving economy and change in Federal Reserve policy means we’ve seen the lows in mortgage interest rates and they are going to keep rising. The time for waiting for a better “deal” is over.
