Great, free entertainment in Flagstaff!
Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University (NAU), with all of the educational and cultural amenities of a college town. Approximately 15,500 undergraduates and 2,000 graduate students attend the NAU Flagstaff campus. NAU has 36 satellite campuses statewide. Area residents are invited to take part in professional, educational and cultural activities in many disciplines on the Flagstaff campus.
The NAU College of Arts and Letters (CAL) offers programs in humanities, arts, and modern languages opening up new cultural worlds for students and the community. Many CAL public events and productions are enjoyed by students, faculty, and area residents alike. Film buffs might want to check out two different and popular film series schedules, films everyone should see at least once – the CAL Film Series Spring 2014 – Hollywood Outsiders, and the NAU International Film Series Spring 2014: Globalization and Migration. A faculty introduction precedes each film, with a discussion after. The films are free.
