From the FMC website:
“One of the nicest things about living in Northern Arizona is you don’t have to travel to get excellent healthcare. Since 1936, Flagstaff Medical Center has provided high quality healthcare services to residents and visitors in Northern Arizona. We are dedicated to patient-centered care with a personal touch. FMC is accredited by DNV Healthcare, the newest hospital accreditation organization deemed by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to accredit hospitals. Founded by Dr. Charles Sechrist as Flagstaff Hospital, the 25-bed hospital was donated to the community of Flagstaff in 1955.”
Flagstaff Medical Center Services
FMC offers a wide array of services in many disciplines you might not expect from hospital in a community the size of Flagstaff. The reason for the wide-array of services is the large geographical area served and the large number of visitors who pass through our region or use Flagstaff as a second home.
