Things To Do In Flagstaff This Weekend
Ruthless
Starting this Friday, Theatrikos Theatre Company is performing “Ruthless”, a wild tale of 1950’s housewife Judy and her psychopathic and amibitious daughter, Tina. Directed by Jan Rominger, this is sure to be a crazy but hilarious time! Visit Theatrikos.com for tickets.
Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt
Indulge your inner wizard this Saturday at a Harry Potter scavenger hunt, hosted by Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff and the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance. The event is free to all ages, and starts with getting your “marauder map” at the Flagstaff Library which will guide you on a journey of stops, riddles, and various activities. Meet up later with the other wizards at Heritage Square for a night of continued magical fun! Details are at Flagstaff365.
Titus Andronicus
This Saturday and Sunday (as well as all this week) the Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival is playing Titus Andronicus, one of Shakespeare’s first plays that centers on a soldier who returns home from the Trojan War. This work is much darker than most of Shakepeare’s plays, and its themes of violence, patriotism, family, and conflicting loyalties stay as relevant now as they did for centuries.
