Next week, the Museum of Northern Arizona hosts its Discovery Spring Break Artist-Led Camps – Art on the Colorado Plateau. Children can make the most of Spring Break from school by spending a day or two, or the entire week exploring nature and culture through art. Monday – ceramics and mosaics; Tuesday – beading, paper and soap making; Wednesday – rock art; Thursday – water color nature painting; Friday – art for science. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each day. Cost includes art supplies, hands-on activities and field trips. Bring water, snacks, lunch, appropriate clothing for going outdoors. Ages 5-13, $50 per day or $230 for the week.
