What Neighbors Are Saying About Living in Downtown Flagstaff:

“I love the community vibe downtown, the walkability, the central location and proximity to most events that happen in Flag and my work. Especially love LOVE that I am able to walk across the street from my house and be in the open woods. Not a lot of towns have that luxury in the city center. It’s good for both mental and physical health.

I loved living downtown. The convenience factor to all the restaurants, local events. The Francis Short Pond is a great place to see wildlife and for urban fishing within the city limits.

If Downtown Flagstaff was an Netflix Series, it Would Be...

It of course would be Forrest Gump…Since “Forest” ran through downtown Flagstaff in the movie. Worth a re-watch to see the beauty of our little town.

If Downtown Flagstaff Was a cast iron recipe, It Would Be...

It would be Sourdough biscuits with Sausage gravy. I am sure that was a common breakfast made from scratch in many of the downtown homes that were built in the early to mid 1900’s.

If Downtown Flagstaff Was a Star Wars Character, it would be...

It would be Obi-Wan Kenobi. Just like Kenobi, downtown is on the older, historic side, has tons of character, loves a good beard, and residents can be found downtown at the bar scene waving glowing sticks.

If Downtown Flagstaff Was a cookie, it would be...

It would be browned butter, dark chocolate chunk with sea salt.  So simple yet so delicious, total satisfaction.

If Downtown Flagstaff Was a car, it would be...

It would be ‘56 Bel Air coupe, not flashy, yet stylish, beautiful, and classic.

If Downtown Flagstaff Was a professional athlete, it would be...

It would be Tom Brady because it has a lot of history, yet still very entertaining and hard to ignore.

With four distinct seasons, Flagstaff’s weather offers something for everyone. Warm and bright sunshine in the summer, chilly mornings with colorful aspens in the fall, snow with freezing temperatures in the winter, and a mix of everything in the spring. The average high in the summer is 80ºF and a low of 53ºF. During the cold season of late November to early March, the average daily high is below 49ºF. Market Trends

Flagstaff has historically had a market based on high demand and low inventory. This creates a seller’s market, with buyers scooping up Flagstaff homes quickly as they come on the market. In the past 20 years, home prices have increased in Arizona by an average rate of 4.15%. In 2021 – they doubled! Although new homes are being built in Flagstaff and surrounding communities like Bellemont and Kachina Village, we expect it to continue to be a seller's market for years to come.

Flagstaff is a tightly knit community that offers small-town vibes with all the city amenities you need. With its bustling downtown life, numerous mountain adventures and active Northern Arizona University campus, Flagstaff is home to a diverse community.
