Mostly halted by bad weather in the eastern U.S. construction on new homes dropped 16% in January according to the Economic Report of MarketWatch this morning. Flagstaff’s unseasonably mild weather has certainly not hurt new home construction in Flagstaff since January 1.
The national new homes chart still shows improvement, just not month-to-month:
